The Journey to SAP S/4HANA

SK Agrawal is Program Director of the largest greenfield implementation of a single S/4HANA instance in the chemicals industry in the world. He has been instrumental in the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA single ERP platform and SAP solutions, such as SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, Docusign, C4C, Concur, Enable Now and Learning Hub. He possesses international experience in leading large scale organization transformation projects including Project Management, Change Management and Transformation Planning, and has extensive General Management experience in large global manufacturing organizations. SK has managed implementation of large petrochemicals projects in the different parts of the world from concept to commercial operations, and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, leading a large number of global M&A deals with multi billion dollar value. 

Melissa Ahrendt is a Finance Director at Perrigo Company helping to lead the global implementation of Central Finance. Melissa has over 15 years of accounting experience and was previously a member of
the Corporate Accounting team at Perrigo focusing on internal reporting, consolidation, integration of acquisitions, SOX controls, and other global initiatives.

Mallikarjun (goes by Mallik) leads Central Finance North America Practice for SAP, has successfully delivered multiple end to end Central Finance Projects, trusted advisor, Influencer, Innovator, Thought Leader, responsible for designing and delivering new Trainings and Certification to Customers, Partners and multiple SAP Teams, passionate to ensure every Central Finance Project worldwide is successful.     

A key thought leader in SAP Maintenance Repair and Overhaul solutions for the last 20 years, Colin  started his career hands-on in aircraft maintenance before spending the last 20 years working with multiple generations of SAP ERP solutions.  He work closely with many global airlines and aerospace and defence companies to solve the challenges of implementing  SAP solutions for complex asset maintenance.  He is currently Global Head of iMRO Product Development, ensuring iMRO’s continued status as SAP’s recommended product for complex maintenance.

Andrew has three years of project management, worked with clients to assess the current operating model, business processes and systems landscape. He has previous SAP S/4HANA Global template development and deployment. Andrew developed a global template standard for an International Chemical company, where the requirement was to adopt Standard/SAP best practice architecture design and deploy to pilot plant locations in Poland, South Africa and China.

Allan's work is engineered around driving the next generation of clients' business transformation through architecting capabilities in the shift from transactional excellence to Intelligent Enterprise outcomes. Using the value of exponential technologies, this shift is achieved by engineering the optimal architectures between SAP and IBM in like data, integration, artificial intelligence, and process automation. Allan has over 20 years consulting experience in major organisations across all industry sectors, holding many lead architect client positions and CTO positions at IBM.

Tapan is leading the engineering team at Maersk Technology across Global Finance platform accounting to reporting product areas, with full accountability around design, build and operations. Tapan has more than 20 years of rich global experiences within Technology consulting, delivery and transformation initiatives working with PwC Consulting, IBM and Maersk Technology.

Chetan is a highly experienced IT Professional leading the evaluation, delivery & support of enterprise solutions across multiple industry verticals for over 15 years. He has been at Jet Aviation for the last 12 years and has been instrumental in transforming their IT strategy and operations, deploying enterprise solutions like SAP, SharePoint, PLM and implementing change management policies for better control of IT operations.

Jan Gilg is President SAP S/4HANA, SAP’s flagship product that encompasses ERP, finance, and supply chain. In this role he has global responsibility for the development, delivery, and product management of SAP S/4HANA, SAP’s Industry solutions, as well as the Digital Supply Chain portfolio. With SAP S/4HANA, customers have the choice to balance standardization with customization when running their mission critical processes with an intelligent ERP system. Jan is also a member of the SAP Engineering Senior Leadership Team.

Evgeniy is Senior Solution Specialist for SAP Intelligent RPA with 10 years of experience in implementing SAP solutions and improving them together with the customers. Evgeniy has worked as a Presales Specialist and Implementation Consultant covering data warehousing, analytics solutions, and process-centric tools with a special focus on SAP Intelligent RPA.

Dr. Babu Joseph is a highly experienced consultant in SAP's finance and controlling modules. He currently works for SAP as a principal consultant and has more than 20 years of consulting experience. He has been involved in a number of full-cycle implementations and upgrade projects, working on a wide range of SAP versions. Recently, Babu has been working in SAP S/4HANA and SAP Model Company and has been involved in several SAP Greenfield implementations. Babu has published two E-Bites with SAP Press on SAP implementations

Carsten is a market-driven solution evangelist with global GTM responsibility for SAP / Finance technology capabilities. In his daily activities, he builds and provides solutions that benefit finance organizations, cross-industry. He connects product capabilities with market and customer requirements and demand. Carsten also works with sales execution support through collaboration with business partners, industry and thought leaders.

Peter Klee has worked over 25 years in the field of SAP solutions and Enterprise Architecture. Most of his career he worked on the customer side. In the past 10 years in SAP, he is helping large enterprise customers develop target architectures and transition roadmaps. He leads the SAP Transformation Hub, which has a focus to scale the architecture phase of these transformations.

Michael Lamade is with SAP for more than 26 years. He has been part of the SAP S/4HANA program since its inception with responsibility for the go-to-market and portfolio management activities across all 25 industries. Since 2018 Michael manages the team that drives the S/4HANA Solution, go-to- market and commercialization strategy for S/4HANA Cloud and on-premise. The main objective is to drive revenue and customer adoption managing field and partner enablement, supporting sales, engaging with customers as solution advisor and acting as spokesperson at SAP internal and external events. In previous roles he had managed two industry business units, several solution areas and global SAP implementation programs.

Kyle is a Consulting Director at SAP for the SAP S/4HANA Finance and Central Finance practice. Kyle is passionate about working with customers to plan and realize their finance transformations and has worked across multiple industries. He has previously spoken at SAP TechEd, SAP Insider, and ASUG and delivered multiple Central Finance bootcamps and training on the SAP Activate roadmap for S/4HANA Central finance.

Christoph started at the SAP Basis Training department in 1996. In 2000 he became a Product Manager for SAP System Management which covered central monitoring, job scheduling and printing at that time. Since 2008, Christoph has been a member of the IT Planning team. This is a team of technical and functional architects who are supporting customers on their digital transformation journey. He is the owner of the "Planning the Digital Transformation" service, which supports Premium Engagement customers planning their transition to SAP S/4HANA.

Monica is the IT Service Manager for GCC in charge of provide IT support and solutions for the group. Monica has more than 10 years experience in SAP environments including the first implementation of SAP as ERP of the Group. Monica aims for a solid technological foundation and structure that allows the company to evolve and focus on the core of its business.

Astrid is responsible for the SAP Activate transition roadmaps for SAP S/4HANA (on-premise), SAP BW/4HANA, and the SAP S/4HANA Upgrade and Product Integration roadmap. Astrid joined SAP in 2001 and was a product manager for various products, including SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server, SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood, and infrastructure tools. Her current focus is on the creation of Premium Engagement Business Scenarios for SAP S/4HANA implementation. She is the author of several SAP Press publications.

Jessica Waagner is a highly motivated performance-driven professional. In her 15 years of driving organization performance, she has earned multiple certifications, and has been recognized for her work driving transformation. She joins Ingevity’s transformation project leading Change Management and Human Resources. Jessica and her team are leading the organization through Ingevity’s greenfield implantation of S/4HANA.

Richard van der Sanden is the lead Solution Architect of Verizon’s 1ERP Finance transformation to a simplified ERP technology that enables business process standardization and efficiencies.
