Swiss transportation companies and tariff associations have moved in close collaboration to provide a better customer experience and increase market share in the public transportation sector. By offering integrated transport products, passengers can use a variety of transport means such as train, bus, tram, boat and even mountain lift across geographical areas of the transport associations. Swiss Federal Railways SBB as the biggest transportation company in Switzerland, acts as an integrator and provider of digital services to other transport companies. To enhance the collaboration of the members of the transport associations and to calculate more accurately and transparently the revenue share among them, it was necessary to build a central data-pool and to develop a fully integrated and automated software solution. SBB chose SAP BRIM to implement the Partner Settlement and Revenue Distribution Project and GTW as their implementation partner.

Many companies face problems to reconcile their sales and creditcard transactions and thus to match their GL Postings against statements from their acquirers. The consequences of missing or poorly implemented reconciliation are revenue leackage, potential of fraud and nonfulfilment of audit requirements. Often the reconciliation is outsourced to their banks, payment providers or third party companys which is very cost intensive and unflexible to changes.
