Dr. Roger Gutbrod, Head of SAP Security Research, Head of M&A Architecture Due Diligence, Ombudsman for Developmen, SAP

Dr Gutbrod, is responsible for Security Research with different research labs in Europe - specifically defining the product and cloud security for tomorrow.

Security Research (new responsibility) and Product Security (since 2012) is an ideal combination to establish product security for development.  In addition to the security responsibility, Dr Gutbrod continues to lead M&A technical due diligence, as well as the central contact at SAP as Ombudsman for Development.

Chris Johnston, VP, Head of Finance and Risk CoE, SAP

Chris Johnston is SAP’s Vice President for Analytics, Finance and Risk in EMEA North. He has almost 20 years of GRC experience and was one of the first people to be certified as a ‘GRC Professional’ by the OCEG. Hi is frequently asked to speak at domain events and is a firm believer that well managed GRC is becoming less of an ‘option’ for companies and that it is becoming accepted as a sound strategic decision. Hi background includes positions as an auditor, ethical hacker, IT Security and business development. Currently, he is enjoying his role at SAP where he has a wider remit than GRC and sees immense potential in providing next-generation risk and control solutions by combining SAP GRC with SAP’s S4 strategy, cloud options, embedded capabilities, machine learning and other developments. He is a father of 3 young children and in his spare time enjoys travel and golf.

Arndt Lingscheid studied mechanical engineering in Cologne and has worked for 19 years as an
SAP consultant and product manager in various positions. He has been involved with SAP cyber
security for more than 6 years and has been Product Manager for SAP Enterprise Threat
Detection since 2019.

Gero Maeder serves as VP Development in the GRC Development department. He has been in the GRC business since 2004 with a special focus on Risk Management, Internal Control and Access Governance. Gero lead the Development for Access Control and is currently heading an engineering team developing the SAP Cloud solution for Identity Access Governance.

cybersecurity & data privacy and protection. Being an experienced strategic advisor for SAP
Security & Governance i.e. implementing as well as governing security within SAP, Vishal has led
security streams within various Business Transformation programs in large complex global
organizations across a broad spectrum of industry verticals.

Dr. Schmitt joined SAP in 1999 and has worked in different areas as a developer, architect, development
manager, and product manager. For about 6 years, he focused on security topics in and around
SAP products and since 2018 he is Product Manager for SAP Enterprise Threat Detection.

Daniel Vander Putten, Senor Developer, Innovative Business Solutions, SAP

After studying computation mathematics Daniel started working at SAP. He is now a member of the SAP Global Security team and over the past 5 years has worked on different security aspects like source code scanning, thread modeling and risk assessment.

For the last 3 years Daniel has worked in the internal SIEM team. In this team he has filled out multiple roles from the monitoring agent, thread hunting and real time analysis. He now acts as the  internal service lead for SIEM content development which includes crafting, defining and implementing new use-cases, unifying and designing parsers to make different log data processable for our SIEM.

Koen Vincent, Product Owner IdM & Manager Autorisatiebeheer, Alliander IT

Koen Vincent is Product Owner for Identity and Access Management and Manager IAM at Alliander, the
biggest distribution system operator in the Netherlands. He’s responsible for the daily operations of the IAM services and is responsible for the architecture, vision and strategy.

Prior to his current role Koen was a senior architect for the generic services within Alliander. Here he was responsible for business and IT alignment, the projectportfolio and implemented multiple strategic projects like RPA. Also Koen has seen a large variety of I&AM implementations in a wide range of
organizations as an IT auditor.
